Candelaria Mining is a publicly listed precious metals focused exploration and mining company advancing two gold projects in Mexico; the 100%-owned construction-ready high-grade Pinos gold project located in the state of Zacatecas, and the 100%-owned advanced-exploration stage Caballo Blanco project located in the state of Veracruz.
Path to 150,000+ Gold Oz/Year Producer
Candelaria’s vision is to become a 150,000+ oz/year gold producer.
The Candelaria team has a track record in identifying quality assets, and to add value through development and execution.
A key goal for 2021 is to advance exploration at the cornerstone Caballo Blanco epithermal-porphyry district, which includes the La Paila open-pit / heap-leach PEA-stage project, and multiple other quality targets. La Paila as currently defined is expected to produce approx. 100koz Au pa, and resources are open in 3 directions. There is excellent potential for a large-scale multi-pit operation in the Northern Zone, and there is similar scope in the southern Highway Zone area.
A platform to support developments in the Caballo Blanco district is to re-start production at the Pinos Gold Mine in Zacatecas. Pinos has a robust positive PEA (2018) and is construction ready with all permits in place. Pinos will provide an important growth platform, reducing future dilutive financing and supporting development of the Caballo Blanco district, and other strategic acquisitions to further expand the portfolio.
The Company’s growth model revolves around its high-quality exploration and operating teams that together have built and operated over 10 mines over the last 20 years, augmented by an experienced board and management team.
